Dynamic Script Data Group

The Dynamic Script Data Group table is used to define sets of tags which can be used for all Dynamic Scripts within a certain location.

The tags are used as fields in dynamic scripts; each tag is linked to a Data Element by specifying the Data Element Number alongside the tag in the Dynamic Script Data Group table.  Upon account inquiry, the values of the associated Data Elements are returned to the mid-tier so that no interaction with the host is necessary to render the scripts (this significantly reduces lag time).  A Data Group may have up to 100 tags defined.

This is a system-wide table that is real-time updatable.  The user can scroll through the list of existing entities.  A new entry can be added using the Copy From facility to allow a new entity to be modeled from an existing entity.

A Dynamic Script Data Group cannot be deleted if it is being used on any Location Table records.

There is a maximum of 500 entries across the entire system.
