The CACS Enterprise Browser performs validity checks for the user in the following ways:
The User Profile table determines valid locations; only those locations available to the user are presented in the Location drop down list.
All functional areas for the user’s selected location to which the user has access are available for selection in the Functional Area drop down list. After the user selects the functional area, the Go push-button is enabled. When the Go push-button is selected, the CACS Enterprise Browser returns work lists that match the requested criteria.
CACS Enterprise performs the following validity checks when returning the work lists that match the Work List Statistics request:
After the user selects the Go push-button, CACS Enterprise determines valid states by comparing the Capability Level as defined on the User Profile table to the Minimum Capability Level as defined on the State table. The Capability Level defined on the User Profile table must be greater than or equal to the Minimum Capability level defined on the State table. This validation is performed to determine user accessibility to each state and has no bearing on the statistics displayed. The CACS Enterprise Browser denotes the states to which a user has access by displaying the Work hyperlink to the left of the states that can be worked. If the user also has the capability to browse work lists (indicated on the User Profile table), the Browse hyperlink is also presented for each of the work lists the user can browse.
Associated states denote work lists that are assigned to a specific user. Statistics for associated states include a state header including the state name followed by the state number with the words “Associated State” in the statistics columns. After all of the detailed user statistics lines are shown, a total line for the associated state is presented. The user may work these states only if the above criteria match and the Capability Level on the User table is greater than or equal to the Capability Level of the user to whom the work list is assigned. The CACS Enterprise Browser denotes the states to which a user has access by displaying the Work and Browse hyperlinks to the left of the state as described above. When associated states are returned, the Work and Browse hyperlinks are never displayed on the Associative State Header or Associated State Totals.
The user launches directly into one of the displayed work lists by clicking on the Work or Browse hyperlink.
When the user returns to the Home page or Work List Statistics view, the previously entered search criteria and results are displayed. The user makes modifications and selects the Go push-button to begin a new Work List Statistics search.
