The User Lookup dialog box allows the user to locate the user ID for another user. The user performs the search by entering part or all of the user’s first or last name and selecting the Go push-button. The CACS Enterprise Browser searches the beginnings of all user names (both first and last) and displays all matches in the Results table. The CACS Enterprise Browser excludes from the search instances where the search characters match characters in the middle of a user name. For example, if a user enters “Gar,” the CACS Enterprise Browser returns matches that include “Gary,” “Garrett,” and “Gardner,” but excludes “Margaret.” All search results are displayed alphabetically by User ID. The user selects the user ID hyperlink to close the dialog box and prefill the user ID on the view from which the user launched the search. The user selects the Clear push-button to clear the search results but to remain in the dialog box. The user selects the Cancel push-button to close the dialog box without populating the User ID field on the view from which the user launched the search.
