The Select Work State dialog is used in conjunction only with Secondary State Processing, and is only available if there are currently secondary states on the account. For accounts with secondary states, all activities entered on the account must be recorded for a work position.
This dialog is presented automatically when the user accesses an account that has secondary states so that any activities can be recorded for the proper workflow position. When in work list mode, the workflow position is automatically selected based on the state position that matches the work list being worked.
The Select Work State dialog allows the user to select the CACS State to work the account, or select a different state than is currently being worked on the account. As mentioned above, this dialog is automatically presented when accessing an account that has secondary states if not in work list mode. If the user wants to change to a different secondary state or the primary state, the Select Work State dialog can be launched from the Tools menu when in the Account View. Only those states that the user has the capability to work are selectable from the current states.
