The Post a Judgment dialog is used to define the details behind a judgment that is to be posted to the account. The dialog is displayed when the Post a Judgment push-button is selected on the Judgment view. The user specifies the details of the judgment and selects the Save push-button. The selection of the Save push-button initiates a Judgment Posting (54000) transaction to be sent to the Recovery Accounting Subsystem. If the transaction posts successfully a 258-judgment record is created in the APPLMAST file and the user is returned to the Judgment view where the new judgment is displayed. Once the judgment successfully posts no changes may be made to the judgment details. If the judgment transaction does not post successfully the errors are returned to the CACS Enterprise Browser and displayed in the Messages dialog.
The user may cancel a judgment request by selecting the Cancel push-button on the Post a Judgment dialog. The dialog is closed and the user is returned to the Judgment view.
