The History view displays a history record for all of the non-monetary and monetary transactions posted to the account. Each history record displayed in the list view may be expanded to display the transaction details (i.e. Principal Amount, Amount, and Description). The History view provides the user with the ability to retrieve all the history records, view detailed information about a selected history record, filter history records based on the transaction or the effective date, go to a specific history record using the effective date and reverse any transaction as needed and where applicable.
The History view may not display all history records for a particular account and if the user wishes to see other history records they may select the number of history records to view from the Get Next drop down list and then select the Go push- button. The history records are returned to the CACS Enterprise Browser and displayed in the History view.
Detailed history may be viewed for each history record in the History view. To view the history record’s details the user selects the Transaction hyperlink and a details dialog is displayed. Depending on the Transaction hyperlink selected the Monetary Transaction Details, History Details, or Interest Rate Change dialog is displayed.
The user may filter the history records displayed in the history view by transaction code or effective date by selecting the Filter push-button. The History Filter dialog box is displayed. The user selects the filter criteria and selects the OK push-button. The results of the filtering are displayed in the History view. The user may cancel a Filter request by selecting the Cancel push-button on the History Filter dialog. The user is returned to the History view. Once a filter has been applied to the History view the user may remove it by selecting the Remove Filter push-button.
The CACS Enterprise Browser also provides the ability to go directly to a history record posted on a specific date by entering the Go to Date and selecting the Go push-button. The user is taken to the first history record for the specified date and the expanded arrow is selected to display the details for the history record.
The Reverse hyperlink to the left of a history record is used to reverse a monetary transaction so as to make the account data look as if the transaction was never processed. The user selects the Reverse hyperlink and the Reverse Monetary Transaction dialog is displayed. The user selects/enters the appropriate information and selects the Save push-button. The transaction is sent to Recovery Accounting. If the transaction posts successfully the user is returned to the History view. If the transaction does not post successfully the errors are returned to the CACS Enterprise Browser and displayed in the Messages dialog.
