The Manual Account Setup view on the Account Search/Manual Setup quick access bar or on the Navigation menu allows the user to set up an account in collections that has not been selected by the accounting system. To set up an account manually, the user selects the Manual Account Setup option on the Home page or from the Navigation menu. For example, if an accountholder calls to inform the user that his/her payment is going to be late, the user can access the Manual Account Setup function to bring the account into collections and make the appropriate notations, which may include a promise to pay.

When the user selects the Go push-button, the CACS Enterprise Browser transfers the user to the Account View. In the Account View, the user first puts the account in active CACS Enterprise status by completing the Manual Account Setup activity using the Action Dialog or Fast Path. The user then records the pertinent information on the corresponding account view tabs.
The criteria below outline the roles CACS Enterprise and the CACS Enterprise Browser play when a Manual Account Setup is requested.
