Reverse a Judgment

The Judgment view provides the ability to reverse a judgment.  A Reverse hyperlink is displayed in the Reversal? column if the associated judgment has not been reversed.  Selecting the Reverse hyperlink displays the Reverse Judgment dialog.  This function is disabled for inactive accounts.

Follow these steps to reverse a judgment:

1. From the Judgment view, select the Reverse hyperlink for the corresponding judgment that is to be reversed.  The Reverse Judgment dialog is displayed with all of the judgment information to be reversed.

2. Verify that the information displayed is for the judgment that is to be reversed.

3. Select the Save push-button.  If the reverse transaction is successful the Reverse Judgment dialog is closed and the Judgment view is displayed.  The reversed judgment displays Yes in the Reversal? column on the Judgment view.  If the reverse transaction is not successful the errors are displayed in the Messages dialog.
