If an account is in repossession the user may remove the account from repossession by selecting the Remove from Repossession transaction from the Select a Non-Monetary Transaction drop down list. The transaction is only available if the account’s current Repossession status, on the Account Details view, is Placed in Repo Prior to this Month or New Repossession. If the transaction is selected the Remove from Repossession dialog is presented with the account’s current Repossession status displayed and the user selects the Save push-button.
The selection of the Save push-button is used to submit a Remove From Repossession (35765) transaction to Recovery Accounting. If the transaction successfully posts a Remove From Repossession (35765) transaction is posted to history, the Repossession status, on the Account Details view, is changed to New Repo Reinstated this Month, the Date Removed from Repossession, on the Account Details view, is set to the current processing date, the dialog is closed, and the user is returned to the originating view. If the transaction does not successfully post the errors are returned to the CACS Enterprise Browser and displayed in the Messages dialog.
The user may terminate the Remove From Repossession request by selecting the Cancel push-button.
