Place in Foreclosure

If the account needs to be placed in foreclosure the user may select the Place in Foreclosure transaction from the Select a Non-Monetary Transaction drop down list.  The transaction is only available if the account’s current Foreclosure status, on the Account Details view, is set to No.  If the transaction is selected the Place in Foreclosure dialog is displayed and the user selects the Save push-button.  

The selection of the Save push-button is used to submit a Place in Foreclosure (35771) transaction to Recovery Accounting.  If the transaction successfully posts a Place in Foreclosure (35771) transaction is posted to history, the Foreclosure status, on the Account Details view, is changed to Yes, the Foreclosure Date, on the Account Details view, is set to the current processing date, the dialog is closed, and the user is returned to the originating view.  If the transaction does not successfully post the errors are returned to the CACS Enterprise Browser and displayed in the Messages dialog.  

The user may terminate the Place in Foreclosure request by selecting the Cancel push-button.
