If an account is available for sale the user may change the account’s Sale Indicator, on the Account Details view, to be unavailable; therefore, making it impossible to associate the account with a pool. If an account has been marked as unavailable for sale the user may change the account’s Sale Indicator to available so that the account may be associated with a pool.
To change an account’s Sale Indicator, on the Account Details view, to available the user selects the Loan Sale Ind Change to Avail transaction in the Select a Non-Monetary Transaction drop down list. The transaction is only available if the account’s current Sale Indicator is Unavailable. If the transaction is selected the Loan Sale Ind Change to Avail dialog is displayed and the user selects the Save push-button.
The selection of the Save push-button is used to submit a Sold Loan Indicator Change (35869) transaction to Recovery Accounting. If the transaction successfully posts the Sale Indicator, on the Account Details view, is updated (to unavailable if the Loan Sale Ind Change to Unavail transaction was selected and to Available if the Loan Sale Ind Change to Avail transaction was selected), the dialog is closed, and the user is returned to the originating view. If the transaction does not successfully post the errors are returned to the CACS Enterprise Browser and displayed to the user in the Messages dialog.
The user may terminate the Loan Sale Ind Change to Unavail or Loan Sale Ind Change to Avail request by selecting the Cancel push-button.
