Edit an IRS Report

A report may be updated by selecting the corresponding Edit hyperlink in the Actions column.  The Edit IRS Report dialog is displayed when the Edit hyperlink is selected.  The user changes the data as needed and selects the OK push-button.  The user is returned to the IRS Reporting view.  The user may select the Cancel push-button to cancel the changes to the IRS report.  

An existing IRS Report may only be modified in the current year or for the prior year if the Final IRS Notice indicator on the Bank Control Organization table is still No.  The edit an IRS Report function is disabled for inactive accounts.

Follow these steps to edit an IRS report:

  1. From the IRS Reporting view. select the Edit hyperlink in the Actions column for the report that needs to be modified.  The Edit IRS Report dialog is displayed with the corresponding report’s information.
  2. Modify the appropriate fields, as needed.

  3. Select the OK push-button.  The Edit IRS Report dialog is closed and the IRS Reporting view is displayed.

  4. To cancel the edit report request, select the Cancel push-button on the Edit IRS Report dialog.  When the push-button is selected, the Edit IRS Report dialog is closed and the IRS Reporting view is displayed.

  5. Select the Save push-button.  If the save is successful, the IRS Reporting view is displayed. If the save is not successful, the errors are displayed in the Messages dialog.
