The Edit hyperlink, displayed in the Actions column for each cost, is used to display the Edit Cost dialog. The Edit Cost dialog allows the user to update the corresponding cost’s information as needed. The Edit hyperlink is not available for inactive accounts.
Follow these steps to edit a cost:
Modify the appropriate fields as needed.
Select the OK push-button. The Edit Cost dialog is closed and the Costs view is displayed.
To cancel the edit cost request, select the Cancel push-button on the Edit Cost dialog. When the push-button is selected, the Edit Cost dialog is closed and the Costs view is displayed.
Select the Save push-button. If the save is successful, the Costs data is updated in the Recovery Accounting database. If the save is not successful, the errors are displayed in the Messages dialog.
