Add/Remove Account from Pool

The Add/Remove Account From Pool transaction is used to associate an account with a pool, change the pool with which an account is associated or to remove an account from a pool.

Follow these steps to submit a Add/Remove Account From Pool transaction:

  1. From the Accounting views , select the Add/Remove Account From Pool transaction from the Select a Non-Monetary Transaction drop down list.  The Add/Remove Account From Pool dialog is displayed.
  2. If the account is to be associated with a pool, specify a valid Pool Number.  If the associated pool is to be changed, specify the new Pool Number.  If the association with a pool is to be removed, enter all zeros in the Pool Number field.

  3. Select the Save push-button.  The transaction is submitted to Recovery Accounting.  If the transaction posts successfully the dialog is closed and the originating view is displayed.  If the transaction does not post successfully, the errors are displayed in the Messages dialog.

  4. To cancel the transaction, select the Cancel push-button.  When the push-button is selected, the dialog is closed and the originating view is displayed.
