Access an Account in the Warehouse

If an account is added to Recovery Accounting and the attempt to book the account is unsuccessful the account is stored in the warehouse.  An account is stored in the warehouse for the number of days (Warehouse Days) specified on the Bank Control table.  If the account has resided in the account for more than the allotted days on the Bank Control table it is purged from the warehouse during the off-line batch process.

Any account residing in the warehouse is available for the user to access and update at anytime.  The account may be updated and an attempt to rebook the account may be made.  If the account posts successfully (i.e., the account is booked) to Recovery Accounting, the account information is moved from the warehouse to the active database.  If the account does not post successfully on another booking attempt the account remains in the warehouse.

Follow these steps to access an account in the Recovery Accounting warehouse:

  1. Select the Acct. Setup / Warehouse option from the Navigation menu.  The New Account Setup view is displayed.
  2. Select the Bank where the account resides.
  3. Select the Go push-button.  A list of all accounts in the warehouse for the specified Bank is displayed in the Warehouse Accounts list at the bottom of the New Account Setup view.
  4. Select the Account Number hyperlink for the account to be retrieved from the warehouse.  The account information is retrieved from Recovery Accounting and displayed in the New Account Setup views (Account Info, Contacts, Costs, Credit Bureau Reporting).
