The Manage Reports view allows you to access and perform various maintenance functions on previously requested reports. Using this view and the commands available in a drop down list for each report, you can view and delete online reports, cancel and restore requests, or hold online reports for viewing at a later date. Use the Manage Reports option on the Reporting menu to display the view.
The action drop down list displayed to the right of each report on the Manage Reports view is used to perform various maintenance functions on a report request. The CACS Enterprise Browser enables/disables the available actions based on the status of the report. The six action options are:
Edit Request - transfers you to the Request Report view and presents the report data for you to edit. This button is disabled when the Request Status is “Cancel” or blank.
View Report - displays the View Reports view with the requested report displayed. This button is disabled when the Request Status is “Cancel” or blank.
Hold Report - places a hold on an online report for viewing at a later date. This button is disabled when the Request Status is “Cancel” or the Report Status is blank.
Restore Report - restores both the online report and the report request from a canceled status. If the request has been modified since being canceled, the online report cannot be restored to insure that report request and the report image are not out of sync. This button is always enabled.
Delete Report - deletes the online report. The report request is unaffected. This button is disabled when the Report Status is blank.
Cancel Request - cancels both the report request and its associated online report. This button is always enabled except when the report has already been canceled.
Follow these steps to perform a report request maintenance function:
Select Manage Reports from the Reporting menu. The Manage Reports view appears.
Select the desired report name from the Report name drop down list and enter the report number in the Report request number field.
Click Go. The CACS Enterprise Browser displays reports matching the requested criteria in ascending order.
For the desired report, select the desired option from the drop down list at the right of the report's row on the view. The CACS Enterprise Browser performs the requested action on the report.
