History

The History view is the default view that is displayed when you access an account in the CACS Enterprise Browser.  This view shows a complete history and permanent audit trail of all collection activity that has been performed on the account, both user-entered and system-generated.  The user accesses this view to review the overall collection efforts and activities on an account.  Each entry displays the pertinent details that were recorded on the History entry including:

The History view displays a summary of the actions that have been performed on the account.  You can search for specific information on an account using the History Filter or by entering a specific date in the Go to Date field.  Use the Remove Filter push-button to remove a previously applied filter on the History view.

The first entry in the History view is expanded.  To expand other entries select the blue triangle to the left of each entry to view additional details concerning the activity, such as Contact, Route to State, and any excuses that may be associated with the account.  Within the expanded view, you can also see text that has been added to the account.  To expand all history text entries, click the Expand All hyperlink.  To collapse all history text entries, select the Collapse All hyperlink.  

The user can filter the history entries using specified criteria by selecting the Filter push-button.  This functionality allows the user to quickly access relevant information without scrolling through an account’s entire history.  To remove a filter from the History view, select the Remove Filter push-button.  Similar to the Go to Date, the filter is only applied to the history lines that have been downloaded to the browser.  The filter can be applied to more history lines by retrieving additional history lines as described above.

The History Filter is automatically applied when processing accounts in work list mode filtering for the work list position on the account.  For example, if the user is in work list processing for a state that is in position 2 on the account, the only history lines displayed are those recorded for work list position 2.

Follow these steps to search for a specific transaction by date:

  1. Position your cursor in the Go to Date field.

  2. Enter the date for which you want the history displayed in the Go to date field or click the Calendar widget to display the Calendar and select the desired date.  

  3. Click Go.  The CACS Enterprise Browser displays the first ten lines of history for the account that matches the selected date.
