Custom Data Segment Search

Use the Custom Data Segment option to search for a customer using a Custom Data Segment type.  

Follow these steps to initiate a search using the custom data segment:

1. Select Search for Account on the Home page Account Search / Manual Setup quick access bar.  The CACS Enterprise Browser displays a search data entry drop down area. Alternatively, select Search for Account from the Navigation menu. The CACS Enterprise Browser displays the Search for Account view.

2. Select the desired Custom Data Segment type from the CDS Type drop down list. The CACS Enterprise Browser will display additional search criteria specific to the CDS type selected.

3. Enter values for the additional search fields to narrow your search.

4. Click Go.  The CACS Enterprise Browser displays the matching accounts in the Search Results area.

If there are additional matches, you can click the View More Results arrow button. The CACS Enterprise Browser indicates the accounts that are accessible to you by making the account number hyperlinked.  You can open the account by clicking the account number hyperlink.
