The Dashboard Reports feature of CACS Enterprise provides a set of real-time reports that can be accessed by authorized users. The goal of this reporting is to present up-to-the-minute status information about collections staff, status of the work lists, and review of today’s activities that have been entered on accounts. These reports access selected CACS Enterprise database information directly to retrieve the current status, recently recorded activity, or user status data to create the reports.
Users access the Dashboard Reports functionality by selecting the Dashboard Portal option on the Reporting menu. This launches the BIRT reporting interface in a separate browser window.
Features available for the reports in the Portal include:
Drill Down – Many of the Dashboard Reports present data at a global level – that is, the data represents multiple CACS Locations – but provide the ability to drill down to view data for a lower level: single Location, Functional Area, CACS State, or User. Accessing the drill down is accomplished by a single click on the report in the area desired for drill down.
Export Data – The BIRT reporting tool provides the ability to export selected report columns to a file. Multiple formats are supported.
Export Report – The BIRT reporting tool provides the ability to export the report itself in any of a number of formats: PDF, PowerPoint, Word, PostScript, Excel.
Print Report – Reports can be printed in either HTML or PDF format.
Data Inclusion/Selection – Some reports allow (or require) specification of selection criteria and condition.
Alert Processing – Some reports include a configurable parameter file that is used when the report is generated. The parameter values applicable for a particular report are compared to the results of report calculations or in rendering the report to highlight an observed condition.
